Jane Yenhen Tapgun (Mrs) studied at the University of Jos (1986 – 89), the Nigeria law school, Lagos and was called to the Bar in 1990. She obtained her National Youth Service Certificate in 1991. She obtained her master's in law (LL.M) from the University of Jos in 2010 specialising in intellectual property.

She worked with the erstwhile Lion Bank of Nigeria Plc and rose to the position of Head Legal and acting Company Secretary before the banking Consolidation in 2005.
She also worked with Diamond Bank Plc as Regional Legal Manager from 2005 -2011 where she resigned her appointment and took up appointment with the Nigeria export Processing Zones Authority in 2011 and rose to the position of Company Secretary/Legal Adviser.
Jane has over 3 decades of experience in corporate legal practice and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (Abuja Chapter), Federation of women lawyers (FIDA) and the International Bar Association (IBA). She is also an associate member of African Dispute Resolution, a member of the justice of the peace Committee (JPC) of the 12 Apostles Catholic Church.
She is involved with several non-profit and Non-Governmental Organisation and also an entrepreneur.
